Being sick sucks

M has been sick since Tuesday, and I’ve been so glad that I haven’t felt ill like him.  It’s on of those nasty bugs that keeps you glued to the toilet.

Today I got up at 5:00 for clinical, and I felt “off”.  I’d been feeling a little nausea since last night, but I figured I just ate too much for dinner.  Nope!  This morning I felt like I was going to puke.  Then I ended up on the toilet.   I’ve spent most of the day sleeping.

My whole body aches.

This sucks.

Not so fun game

Tonight we had floor hockey game.  Sometimes it’s really fun, but tonight it was one of those games where bad sportsmanship took center stage.  Ugh.

It’s frustrating when you start a game with the intention of being fair.  Heck you may even start of the game with discussing the rules, and then hit the floor.  Then something happens and someone gets worked up about the call made on the floor – all hell breaks loose!  People get immature, frustrating and start getting riled up over a simple recreational game.

Tonight was a prime example.  Swords were drawn on either side – but in the end, we all suffer because a potentially fun game left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
