Dare run blog – Day four

Fundraising goal:	100% ($900)

Run time:	34 minutes
Weather:	11°C
Overall feeling:	Do I have to be awake?

This is a quick post because I need to make sure I get to school on time (class and midterm today).  The run went really well.  I pushed myself to go faster because I didn’t want to be late, and because I had some awesome motivational music playing (MIA, MJ, etc).  The weather was awesome, and it was great to see tons of people out walking their dogs.  I kept a good pace and didn’t take one walking break, and I got all green lights!  I guess this was God’s way of pushing me forward seeing as I didn’t even want to get out of bed this morning!

Tomorrow will be an afternoon run, I’ve got to work during the day.  Keep checking in friend – the dare is on!

I’ve done my duty!

Yep, I did it!  I didn’t think I would make it to the polls, but it turns out that it was right around the corner from my house, and the process took all of 5 minutes.

At least that’s something positive, right?

Maybe.

Un-perfect

I read a really interesting article today as a part of my Women’s Studies course. It’s called “Perfect people: cancer charities” and it’s by woman named Sharon Batt.
